thankful for mum on mother's day

While our mums may have their own flaws and failings the truth is they deserve all the love, honour and respect we can give them.

Wow, time flies. Here we are again with mother's day fast approaching. This year has already held many wonderful celebrations but perhaps mother's day is the most significant of them all. I mean not one of us would be here if not for the love of our mother's.

While our mums may have their own flaws and failings the truth is they deserve all the love, honour and respect we can give them.

Last week we marked ANZAC Day, a special day for all Australians and very special for my husband who served in the Australian Army for 10 years. Together, we attended Dawn Service at Kings Park in Perth which is possibly the largest gathering in Australia. As the morning dawn broke through the darkness and memorial wreaths were laid, thousands of people paused to reflect on the sacrifices made for our free country and the way of life we value so much. At a personal level how much should we honour mother's day and reflect on the sacrifices our mothers made and continue to make for us and our families!

Thinking about you is a florist in Joondalup and Wanneroo, helping to love, honour and respect all mums this Mother's day.

Have a wonderful mother's day.
